Product reviews are a new thing I’m about to trial, but I haven’t written any just yet. Watch this space for the first of what I hope will be many in the future.

First of All

Welcome to the Sea Dragon Surfboards website/blog. I've been shaping boards for a number of years now and, although I'm more than happy to carve out the odd standard short board now and then, I'm really most interested in exploring the capabilities, both in terms of aesthetics and performance, of what's commonly known as 'alternative' designs. Hence, I don't really hold with the model-based shaping philosophy, and no two boards coming out of the Sea Dragon Surfboards shed will ever be exactly the same. If you want to get a custom board shaped, get in contact and I'll happily discuss with you exactly what you want out of it. Board building and design is, at its core, a collaboration between the shaper and the rider, and it's this aspect of the business that really gets my creative juices flowing.
